FRWC Chamber of Commerce Local Candidate Forum

The Front Royal-Warren County Chamber of Commerce will hold a Local Candidates Forum on Wednesday, September 3rd at the Doubletree by Hilton beginning at 7 p.m. Doors will open to the public at 6:30 p.m.

The event will include separate forums for contested local races.
These forums offer community members an opportunity to hear local candidates answer issue-based questions and gain insight into the candidate’s goals should they be elected.
While open to the public, seating is limited. The forums will be recorded by the Royal Examiner. The video will be available on The Royal Examiner website (www.royalexaminer.com) and the Chamber’s website (www.frontroyalchamber.com) with links also available on social media.

Questions asked to the candidates will have been submitted to the Chamber of Commerce by the public and developed by the Chamber’s Legislative Committee in the weeks leading up to the forum and at the door on the night of the event.

Each question will be read to the candidates by the moderator. Only questions that are issue-based and relevant to the office for which you are running will be asked. No personal attacks will be permitted.

The public may submit questions for consideration in advance to info@frontroyalchamber.com or by mail to 201 E. 2nd Street, Front Royal, VA 22630. Questions will also be taken at the door on the night of the event. Questions will not be accepted once the event has started.

Candidates will not receive the questions in advance.

For more information, contact the Chamber of Commerce at 540-635-3185.

The Front Royal-Warren County Chamber of Commerce is a 501c6 organization. Our mission is to promote and support our membership by serving as its voice, providing relevant programs, encouraging leadership, and creating a strong business climate and a vibrant community.

Facebook Live Q&A

I want to hear from YOU. Join me for a live, interactive Q&A session right here on Facebook where I’ll be answering your questions and discussing the issues that matter most to our community.

This is your chance to:
Share your thoughts directly with me
Ask questions about my vision for growing our economy, keeping taxes low, and fighting wasteful spending
Learn more about my plans to increase funding for education and public safety
Talk about local priorities like Samuel’s Library and responsible development (no to data centers in our backyards!)

I believe that good leadership starts with listening, and there’s no better way to do that than by opening up an honest conversation. Whether you’re concerned about our schools, safety, local business growth, or just want to get to know me better, this event is for you.

Warren County Fair

Evening everyone. I just wanted to give a shout out to the Warren County Fair coming up. I will be there almost every night, but I will not have a tent setup. Pam and I will be volunteering in the Cedarville Ruritan food booth (where we'd love to serve you and raise money for the community). If you would like to chat or have questions about my playform, Ruritan or whatever just let me know and I'm sure I can take a few moments to step out to speak with you.
