Our first full day at Zion National Park was all about taking it slow — exploring Springdale, enjoying scenic views, and ending the day with sunset photography on the Kanab Plateau. A perfect beginner-friendly way to experience Zion without hiking.

Day 5 of our Southwest road trip took us from Page Arizona to Zion National Park along Highway 89, with stops at Lone Rock Beach, Toadstool Hoodoos, Kanab dinosaur tracks, and night photography in Zion.
