Data Centers are Here!

The same leaders that are telling you that Data Centers are not here are the ones that allowed all of the vape shops in our community without creating ordinances that could limit the number of them when they started. Perhaps they thought they weren't coming either?

I know of multple individuals who HAVE been contacted by data center developers in regards to them selling their land. Yes, there has been no vote. Yes, there has been no ordinance requests. BUT just a few years back there were no vape shops either.

I am 100% against data centers in Warren County. Questions about water and electricty are understandable but fixable with money. My concerns are more from the environment impact. 1. The noise they produce is obscene. 2. I don't want our visitors to our area standing on an overlook in the Shenandoah National Park and seeing data centers. 3. I'm from technolog, I know how fast it moves. There is a high liklihood that new technology will come along in the coming years that will make them obsolete. Then we have horrible looking empty shell buildings that are empty.

Data Centers are not a Chicken Little, not a Red Herring. They are all around us, that means they are here. I fully expect a data center vote within the next 12 months. I will vote NO!
