Who is Bryan Scott Turnmeyer?
My name is Bryan Scott Turnmeyer, everyone knows me as Scott, and I’m proud to be running for the Board of Supervisors to represent the Happy Creek District here in Warren County.
I was born and raised on a farm right in the area, where I learned the value of hard work, responsibility, and honesty from a young age. That upbringing, along with watching my parents spend years volunteering in Fire & Rescue, shaped my values and inspired my commitment to our beautiful area.
Professionally, I’ve spent over 20 years in the corporate IT world, leading teams and managing large-scale operations in areas like infrastructure, strategic planning, budgeting, audits, and performance improvement. I’ve held senior leadership positions with organizations including Amazon Web Services, Verisign, Avantus Federal, and others—where I was trusted to oversee multi-million-dollar programs, lead digital transformation efforts, and build strong, effective teams. That experience taught me how to solve problems, manage resources responsibly, and drive real, measurable results.
But I’m not just a technology executive—I’m also a small business owner. My wife and I own and operate Turnmeyers, located right on Main Street in Front Royal, where we serve both locals, tourists, and national customers through our website every day. Running a local business gives me a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing small businesses in our area.
I also served as Vice Chair of the Tourism Board, where I worked closely with community leaders to help strengthen our region’s economic future. I believe that Warren County is full of untapped potential—from our beautiful mountain landscapes and river access to our charming historic downtowns and welcoming people. With thoughtful leadership and vision, we can turn that potential into real economic growth, especially in tourism and business development, while preserving what makes our community special.
I'm running for the Board of Supervisors because I believe in this place. I believe in its people, its promise, and its future. And I believe that with the right leadership—leadership rooted in experience, transparency, and a true love of community—we can make all of Warren County even better.
I would be honored to earn your support.
