Bryan Scott Turnmeyer Announces Candidacy for Warren County Board of Supervisors – Happy Creek District

Front Royal, VA – 6/25/2025 — Local business owner, tourism advocate, former corporate leader and lifelong area resident Bryan Scott Turnmeyer has officially announced his candidacy for the Warren County Board of Supervisors, representing the Happy Creek District.

Turnmeyer’s campaign is focused on strategic economic development that benefits all residents. He emphasizes that tourism should Warren County’s primary economic driver, contributing significantly to the local economy through visitor spending on lodging, dining, retail, and outdoor recreation. “Tourism is not just about weekend visitors—it fuels our tax base, supports jobs across multiple sectors, and brings in the revenue we need to invest in schools, emergency services, and infrastructure,” said Turnmeyer.

He believes that with stronger marketing and better coordination between Warren County and the Town of Front Royal, the region can unlock even greater potential. “We need to stop underestimating what tourism can do for us. A smart tourism strategy is an economic development strategy—and it helps keep the pressure off local taxpayers by bringing in outside dollars.”

As part of his commitment to transparency and open dialogue, Turnmeyer plans to host numerous live meet-and-greet events, Facebook Live Q&A sessions, and other interactive opportunities to hear directly from residents. Details for all upcoming events will be available at www.scottturnmeyer.com and on his campaign Facebook page.

Turnmeyer’s platform highlights the importance of long-term planning, responsible growth, and supporting public resources like emergency services, schools, infrastructure, and even community staples like the library. He is committed to making decisions that reflect the needs and voices of the people in Happy Creek and across Warren County.

“I’m running because I believe Warren County can thrive—not survive,” Turnmeyer added. “By embracing what makes us unique, investing wisely, and working together, we can build a stronger future for everyone.”
